Hmmmmm. Was "whole" when I suspect you meant "hole" one of those Freudian slips fit Freud's original speculations about such things. I mean most people who use the term simply mean "accidentally letting slip an embarrassing word or phrase", but what Freud was actually talking about was "slips" that reveal information that the subconscious is trying to "hang onto" rather than let the conscious will access directly .... and these can actually provide important information about the subconscious procecesses involved. One of the most important facts about the human mind that I've been able to channel over the years is that is it "non-linear and holistic" so when our feelings trick us into seeing "whole" this may what our subconscious is trying to tell us...

I see no connection between the "talk but don't touch rule" and being afraid to move around as freely as your control over your astral soul will allow you to do. In fact, the whole idea of "waking up" is to use your conscious will to observe and communicate with other spirits. In fact, the rule is based onb the assumption that people WILL be active, not stuck in one spot through fear....

My Guides say that your caution is a sign of wisdom. On the astral plane, as on the earth plane, all our interactions with others have to be guided by our own free will and capacity to make value judgments. And your astral friends have a tendency to hang back and let you communicate with them rather than crowding forward with advice, just to encourage this exercise of personal independence and initiative.

This reaction is extremely commonly, and as I said above, it's always wise to proceed with caution, but unless you do keep exploring the astral with your psychic senses, you won't learn anything by practical experience, which IMO is MUCH more sensible than relying on second-hand information. And there is another important piece of information in the WiH ideas that you seem to be over-looking. Disembodied spirits CANNOT harm an embodied soul who is exploring their domain to observe and communicate with them. The energy your astral soul has access to simply by being attacked to the physical body through the Silver Cold makes you invulnerable to direct harm from disembodied spirits. The only thing you have to fear is believing false information you are given on the other side, and deciding whether to accept or reject opinions or pieces of information is something you do AFTER you return to a normal state of consciousness (which is what actually happens when people say they "return to the body").

I agree, which is why the "bad guys" make a real effort to make this kind of information hard to find. I stumble across it by accident every once in a while and post links to the site I found it on, and then go back a few weeks or months later and find that either the link won't open or the information I read there before has been replaced with something useless.

Well, as long as you're talking about remote viewing and channeling while you're in the body, you aren't taking any real risks if you DO walk into a trap. You can always walk right back out, and the most importatant thing is that you will be able to evaluate the experience after it's over and you are in a more rational state of mind that the one generated by engaging in psychic ability. You have to "open up" to receive psychic input just as you have to "look" or "listen" to receive sensory input by sight or hearing, but this doesn't commit you to anything, because you can do the evaluations later, based on your memories of the experience.
